Information Systems Management
Our mission at Information Systems Management is to provide the best attainable and efficient technology for the Center staff to use in their delivery of services and care.
We do this by providing services in the six key areas:
- Data Network Services
- Computer Hardware support
- Software and Application Systems development and support
- Technology Training
- Staff Assistance in using Technology
- Information Technology Management and Operations services
Our staff of six supports and services:
- over 500 network and e-mail users
- over 600 PC workstations, printers and network devices
- networking to 33 buildings on two separate campuses and two community locations
- over 40 local software systems and programs
- the campus information intranet site
In 2010 we completed over three thousand three hundred service and assistance requests.
While doing this, we are also charged with insuring compliance with all applicable state and federal technology and information security policies, regulations, and laws and follow Information Technology governance best practices. To support the Center's evolving mission and the implementation of the Electronic Health Record in our health services management operations, we are currently halfway through a six year plan to revise and replace legacy information systems and improve our technology infrastructures' performance.
